Objective:

Our team was tasked with designing a cohesive brand identity to communicate Synergy-RE's unique value to prospective clients, stakeholders, and the community.

Project Summary:

The client, Synergy-RE, is an architectural firm focused on transforming unused or abandoned buildings into vibrant, functional spaces. Their philosophy centers on cost-effective architectural innovation, new revenue stream generation, and community enrichment.

Project Scope

We were tasked with creating a comprehensive branding package, including:

1. A modern identity system
2. Print collateral for marketing and client presentations
3. A responsive website
4. An engaging explainer video

Design & Development Process

Identity System

The branding centered around the concept of “renewal,” reflected in both the logo and visual elements.

Logo Design: The logo features a stylized architectural structure made of geometric forms, symbolizing connection and transformation. A fresh green color was used to evoke regeneration and expertise.

Color Palette: We selected a palette inspired by nature and construction: bright green and royal blue to convey sustainability and professionalism.

Typography: The type system included a modern sans-serif that balances modernity with approachability.

Icons: The icon system included a set of icons for use in print collateral, presentations, and trade-show materials.

Additional design: The stickers for use on clear adhesive backing were designed for use on the construction gear.

Print Collateral

We developed a suite of print materials to support the firm’s marketing efforts:

Business Cards: Cohesive branded cards with the design elements, logo, tagline, and services.

Brochures: High-quality, fold-out brochures featuring project photography, detailed service descriptions, and testimonials from past clients.

Construction Signage: Construction signage designed for readability and logo recognition.

Website

The website was designed to serve as a digital portfolio and information hub. Key features included:

User Experience: A clean, intuitive layout with a focus on showcasing projects and expertise.

Content: Sections such as “Services,” “Case Studies,” and “Featured Projects” emphasized their expertise and measurable results.

Technical Details: The site was optimized for desktop and mobile, with fast load times and accessibility features like alt text for images and high-contrast design.

Call-to-Action (CTA): Strategically placed CTAs encouraged visitors to “Email Directly” or “Book a Consultation”.

Explainer Video

The explainer video distilled the firm’s vision and process into an engaging 90-second animation:

Visual Style: Architectural elements combined with crisp motion graphics reflected their balance of expertise and precision.

Narration and Music: The narration was delivered in a confident, warm tone, paired with an uplifting instrumental score to inspire action.

Storyline: The video highlighted their approach to repurposing spaces, from initial assessment to final transformation, emphasizing benefits like cost-effectiveness, usefulness and community impact.

Key Takeaway

This project exemplified the power of strategic branding in aligning visuals and messaging with a company’s mission. By creating a unified identity system and delivering engaging materials, we helped Synergy-RE solidify its position in architectural, construction, and repurpose space.
